Algebra 1 End of Year Review & Test Prep Ideas

Students learn SO many new math concepts in Algebra 1. The EOC test is a chance to show everything they’ve learned, but how do we prepare students for the big test?

Algebra 1 Test Prep Ideas

I’ve gathered some of my favorite end of year activities and review resources. These allow students to recall what they’ve learned and deepen their understand in the weeks or days leading up to the exam. Each one is standards-based, engaging, and will make students think!

Algebra 1 Review Booklet with types of graphs

Functions Review Booklets

These interactive booklets help students recall all the different types of graphs they’ve learned.

Students identify the different types of functions and solve real world problems with each type (linear, quadratic, exponential, absolute value, piecewise, inequalities, and systems).

Error Analysis

Students must really know their algebra and pay close attention to details to spot these mistakes.

Error analysis is a great way to review past learning while encouraging deeper thinking, analysis, and math discussions.
