Hi. I am Rachael, and I love creating resources that help you inspire a love of math in students.

Although I have always loved math, I did not know I would end up in the field of education. I spent many years tutoring students in all levels of math from elementary to college as a side job while studying and working as an Interior Designer. After volunteering at an afterschool program, I finally realized math education was calling my name.

Teaching math to middle and high schoolers taught me how to truly impact students’ learning. Engaging lessons that show the “why” behind the “how” in math concepts are the heart of Rise over Run.
